Black Tech Mafia (BTM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Nashville, Tennessee. This policy explains what information we collect on blacktechmafia.com, how we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to enter in our forms:
Bootcamp application: student name, email, phone, high school, and grade; parent or guardian name, email, and phone; and the student's answer to why they want to join.
Mentor signup: name, email, phone, company and role, LinkedIn URL, areas of expertise, availability, and any notes you add.
Contact form: name, email, phone, and your message.
How we use it
We use this information only to run BTM programs: to review bootcamp applications, to contact students, parents and guardians, and mentors, and to reply to people who reach out to us. Submissions are stored in Black Tech Mafia's Google account and are available only to the BTM team.
We never sell your information
We never sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Cookies and Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show us which pages people use. Google Analytics does not give us your name or contact information. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Students
Bootcamp applications are submitted by a parent or guardian, or by a student who has their permission to apply.
How to request deletion
To see, correct, or delete the information you sent us, email info@blacktechmafia.com with the name and email you used on the form. We will delete it and confirm by email.
