BLACK TECH MAFIA

Black Tech Mafia (BTM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is educating youth in underserved communities with AI literacy, giving them the skills to thrive in an AI-agentic workforce.

By 2030, AI can potentially disrupt 16-30% of jobs mainly held by households of underserved communities.[1]

By 2045, AI is projected to create $500 billion in annual wealth in the US, but could worsen the racial wealth gap by $43 billion yearly for Black households.[2]

We gain the attention of the youth by using entertainment,storytelling,and music in the Black Tech Mafia Mini-Series to convey our mission.

The Power of Black Dollars

The Power of Black Dollars With an estimated $2 trillion in buying power (Nielsen, 2022), the Black community has the resources to reshape its economic future.

Without intervention, Black households are projected to receive only $27 billion of AI-generated wealth by 2045, compared to the $70 billion they would receive if wealth was distributed equally.

The Circulation of a Dollar in America

While a dollar circulates in Asian communities for 28 days, Jewish communities for 19 days, and white communities for 17 days, it is estimated to stay in Black communities for just 6 hours.

This economic disparity could be further exacerbated by AI wealth creation, making BTM's mission to equip the youth with AI literacy and skills to take advantage of this transformational moment.

Black Tech Mafia Mini-Series

BLACK TECH MAFIA opens up with Ray Arceneaux a software developer getting a call from someone referring to themselves as "THE PLUG". The Plug provides Ray directions to an undisclosed location to retrieve a briefcase with its contents unknown.

The FTC (Federal Tech Commission), led by Special Agent Mac Debug, is in hot pursuit of Ray, keeping him under drone surveillance while FTC Scrum agents are en route to intercept him and seize the briefcase.
